We are literally rock stars right now! We arrived at Taunovo Bay Resort and Spa and everyone was waiting to see "the twins". Tommy and Cole were famous before they even got here! We arrived late...around 9-ish on Sunday night and were a bit groggy after our long ride. But it was SO worth the wait. This place is insane. Luxury times 100. Seriously!!! They upgraded our small house to a villa and we have a compound all to ourselves. Last night they served us dinner in our own dining room...fresh caught mahi mahi...sea scallops...wine. So decadent.
When I tell you we have a villa...I just don't think you could possibly picture this. We have our own walkway with koi ponds flanking our entrance. When you walk in...to the right is a HUGE living room with Bose sound system and sliding pocket doors that open out onto the terrace/courtyard. To the left of the entrance foyer is the dining room and kitchen. Mind you...this is a chef's kitchen...all stainless steel...gorgeous gas stove...amazing fridge...island...all stocked with everything our chef might need to make dinner. The kitchen and dining room also have sliders out onto the courtyard./terrace. There is a guest bathroom (nicer than any I have been in...) and our house attendant Sue has her own private entrance here.
The second level is home to Beth's private bedroom, bath and large balcony with sweeping views over the terrace/courtyard and ocean beyond. It is spectacular.
Out on the terrace downstairs, we have a large private infinity pool, spa, outdoor dining area and a Balinese day bed pavilion. The villa is ocean front with our own private beach...torches that are lit every night...outdoor beach shower...foot bath for coming in from the beach...hammock, etc. When you are facing the ocean and pool...to the left is a separate bure building which houses the master bedroom. This is exquisite. There is a huge king size bed draped with mosquito netting...60 inch flat screen television...own private porch and a bathroom that is like something out of a dream. Separate shower and a huge plunge jacuzzi tub. More sliders lead out to a private outdoor shower that can only be accessed by the suite. The floors are made of river rock...the sinks are carved stone bowls...I could go on and on.
The boys are in heaven...as are we! Every morning we stroll down to breakfast with the two little rockstars. "Bula Cole and Tommy!" "Oh the twins!" "Bula twins!!" "Bula beautiful babies!" We come back to the villa to swim and the boys love having their own pool. It is just so relaxing!
There is a huge coral reef off of the beach, so walking the sand in morning we've found incredible corals and shells.
Basically? We may as well be Brad and Angelina as we are totally living their life for these few short days. Sue, our house attendant, is amazing and is here every morning to greet us and assists us with anything we need during the day. Cole is flirting with her right now...as usual. :) Kevin just took Tommy down to the restaurant to order lunch and hang out. They will bring it back here and set it up on our outdoor dining table most likely. (Am I really typing all of this?!?)
Today Beth and I are having massages...tomorrow we white water raft. Kevin took his two days in the beginning of the trip with a full day of deep sea fishing and then another full day of golf. We've been saving up for the end...we are SO excited to go rafting tomorrow. Above are some great pictures of the villa...the boys...of us...and we'll update you again soon!
